We are a Bible believing community of believers that embraces all ages into our contemporary style of worship. A come as you are atmosphere, encourages everyone to feel welcome.
Our mission has been ordained through the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). It is our desire to Know, Grow, Serve, and Go in our relationship in the Lord through His Son Jesus Christ. We accomplish this through Worship, Instruction, Evangelism, Fellowship, and Service.
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God written.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. Salvation is made personally effective as one acknowledges his or her sinful state, repents of their sins, and acknowledges Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
We believe in baptism by water as an outward expression of the inward change brought about when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We believe in the present personal ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling power and fullness the Church and the Christian are enabled to live a godly life in this present world.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.
We believe God instituted marriage only between a man and a woman and He created marriage as the penultimate picture, pointing to the ultimate reality of Jesus Christ’s marriage to His Church.
Having been led by the Spirit of God to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and upon the profession of faith, having been baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one Body in Christ.
We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness and comfort, to promote its prosperity and spirituality, to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines, to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expense of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel throughout all nations.
We also engage to maintain family and private devotion; to educate our children in the Word of His Grace; and to seek the salvation of our kindred acquaintances.
We engage, by the Grace and Power of God, that as strangers and pilgrims, we will abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul; that we will put away from us all bitterness, and wrath, and anger and clamor, and evil speaking, and be kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ’s sake hath forgiven us.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love, to remember each other in prayer, and to aid each other in sickness and distress.
We moreover engage that, should we remove from this place, we will, as soon as possible, unite with another church where we can carry out the spirit of the covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
